Join us this St. Patty’s Day for our Gaelic social gathering here at Coco’s (Monday night, March 17th). We’ll have green beer, green cocktails, awesome food (as always) AND LIVE traditional music by a 4-piece Irish band called, Kitchen Ceilidh!
A “ceilidh” is a traditional Gaelic social gathering with Gaelic folk music and dancing. While we may be missing the traditional dancing on this particular evening, you are more than welcome to do your own dancing to the Irish music played by Kitchen Ceilidh! But there’s more than just music planned… it’s more of a variety show!
Andy Mason, a member of our well-loved Ottawa-based DejaVuAcoustic band, will provide accompaniment and some of his own music during the evening. The other entertainers will include: Kevin Dooley, flutist and traditional Irish singer, balladeer and storyteller; Pauline Brooke, singer and bodhran player; and David Finkle, hand drum specialist and bassist.
If you’re looking for something different to do this St. Patty’s Day, try us and our Kitchen Ceilidh on for size! Come early for some tasty fuel before the festivities, and join us for an amazing St. Patty’s Day event!
