It’s been a long summer of construction for Renfrewites while our main street has been ripped up and slowly put back together again. Celebrate with us on Friday, October 26th, as the ever-green local group, BBC & Co, leads the festivities to mark our reopening and the brand-new-spanking downtown Renfrew!
Everyone in the general Renfrew-area is well-acquainted with Bahoo, The Brat, The Commander and the amazing talents of Juno award-winning guitarist, Jon Park Wheeler, who make up the band, BBC & Co.
For those who don’t know, they play an exciting mix of 70’s folk/rock and newer country/rock. Lori Dore takes the lead on vocals and her hubby, Andy Dore, plays guitar and keys while Rick Rogers wails on bass and Jon makes magic with his strings.
They are as entertaining with their stage performance as they are with their musical talents. Be forewarned: this band will keep you in stitches all night long!
Still not sure? Check out the clip on the left from one of their past shows at Coco’s doing a Blue Rodeo cover.
Need another reason to come out on Friday the 26th? Get a Sneak Peak of Coco Jarry’s Menu Changes!
Yes! That’s right – Coco Jarry’s is making a few changes with our menu. Specifically, we will be RENFREW’S *ONLY* GRILL HOUSE and so as to not leave the vegetarians/vegans out, MEDITERRANEAN KITCHEN.
What prompted this change? YOU, our regulars, who come rave about and keep coming back for more of Nick’s (owner/operator/main cook at to Coco’s) famous sirloin steaks, our lamb nights we started back in May, and our take-out Mixed Grill Night meal deal.
Plus, he’s been in Greece during our temporary closure and has been LOVING some amazing traditional Mediterranean dishes that he just KNOWS you’ll love, too! Appetizers like Eggplant Parmesan and main courses like Stuffed Chicken with Feta, Bacon and Sun-Dried Tomato.
We’re not quite sure what we’ll be serving on this particular night, but we’re certain you’ll want to share meals with your friends so that you can taste a little bit of each new menu item!!
BBC & Co usually draw a crowd so please make a reservation (we’ve already booked 2 big groups!) or come early for a bite to eat and save your seat for the show. We look forward to seeing you!
